We are a family business that has been in Carnforth for over 40 years.  

The business was born form sheer frustration,  Nik was getting married and wherever she and Jan (her mum) went, she couldn’t get what she wanted or was treated like she had a third head.  She was only a size 16, but in bridal shops throughout the UK, the standard sample size is a 12.  She wanted to try a dress on that fitted!  She was also fed up of hidden costs and snotty service. Hence Kiss the Bride was born.  

Originally Taylors Fashions selling ladies wear, we started selling wedding dresses and bridal accessories in 2006.  Instantly the business went from strength to strength.  Now the ladies wear has been replaced by tiaras, satin shoes and bridesmaids dresses in a choice of 55 colours!

Predominately selling wedding dresses to brides of Lancaster, Morecambe, Kendal and the South Lakes, we have sent many of our girls off to far flung destinations and can co-ordinate bridesmaids no matter where they are located worldwide.

Our dress are all labelled and priced at RRP.  Not a penny more.  We also don’t charge for alterations on our full priced gowns.  And if you’re on a budget, we always have a sale rack of past sample stock with prices from £99.
